The Strategic Plan, 2010-14 specifies longer-term priorities and objectives for the Faculty of Arts.

Various collective agreements negotiated between the University administration and several different unions represented on campus are the foundation of all policies and procedures in place at the University of Regina.

The University's Policies & Procedures Manual governs areas of decision-making that are not covered by the collective agreements.

The Faculty Handbook, maintained by the Dean and updated as required, specifies policies and procedures in areas that the collective agreements allocate to Faculties for further definition and elaboration.

The Recruitment Handbook provides guidance for faculty committees charged with the task of selecting, interviewing and recommending candidates for open academic positions.

The Report of the Dean's Task Force on Reading_and Writing (May 2004) offers recommendations for increasing the ability of undergraduate students at the University of Regina to read and write effectively.
